Senior full stack developer (Java & Angular)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria

Hybrid model of working: 2-3 days per week in the office

Business domain: gambling

Tech stack: Java EE, Spring Boot, SQL, JS, Angular, microservices, CI/CD

With over 20+ years of experience and deep-rooted expertise in the gambling sector, our client is expanding and creating a dynamic team to spearhead the development of the innovative platform. Participation in the team will give you an opportunity to become a part of something new and remarkable.

What you’ll do:

• Develop enterprise-level backend and frontend software solutions according to technical specifications.

• Contribute to both server-side and client-side code quality and assure quality conformance of source codes.

• Design and implement user interfaces for enhanced user experience.

• Analyze requirements and work with team members to create quality results across the full technology stack.

• Participate in all cycles of software design and development, including front-end technologies.

• Communicate effectively with local management and external team members.

• Participate in internal and external meetings.

• Provide production application support, including front-end components.

• Participate in code reviews.

• Promote a culture of data protection and security compliance across all units and employees of the organization.

• Develop and integrate APIs for cross-platform compatibility.

• Ensure responsiveness and performance of applications.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Java EE, Spring Boot, and SQL

• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience with frameworks/libraries like React or Angular

• Experience with concepts like Test Driven Development, Unit testing, Mocking, Stubbing

• Experience with Git and version control practices

• Familiarity with CI & CD processes, microservices, and service-oriented architecture

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically

• Good working level of English

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Docker/Podman, Quarkus, MongoDB, RESTEasy, Kubernetes and Helm
